What a fantastic effort!

As of 12th July we’ve raised just over £4,000 for support the restoration of Borrowash Bottom Lock during our IWA WRG visit in July, which is a fantastic effort by all involved.

We can’t thank you all enough for your generosity; all of the donations will go towards the cost of restoring the lock so that it can be ready for water when the Canal is rebuilt to Borrowash in the coming years.

We’ve now got a stretch target of £4,500 at the time of writing, to enable us to cover all of the costs of the lock restoration, so we don’t have to rely on Trust funds so this money can be used for other parts of the Derby Canal.

Haven’t yet donated?

Fear Not! Our CrowdFunder is still open, 7 days to go at the time of writing, so there is still plenty of time to donate and support this fantastic restoration effort!
