Open Day – Borrowash Bottom Lock

Work Description:

The work will include clearing vegetation and/or aiding in restoration of the lock. This area has already been cleared a few years ago and the work is continuing to regrow trees along the towpath and clearing the canal channel from Station Road to Borrowash Bottom Lock.

The Open Day will be intended to show the local residents the work we have done, as well as preparing them for the IWA/WRG visit at the end of July.

HS&E requirements:

Sturdy Boots and gloves are recommended.

Getting there:

Parking may be found on Mear Drive and there a number of places that you can walk through to the canal line.
