Derby City Council have recently published its Local Development Framework strategy, whilst there is welcome support for “protecting” the canal route for restoration, it does however fall short of actively promoting the restoration.
As the plan is available for public consultation it would be useful to get as many comments as possible from members to address this. The closing date for responses is 20th December so please have a look and submit a comment to the City Council.
