Our working party was in attendance at Draycott this wet and blustery Sunday, once again numbers are increasing on the working parties, this along with a kind donation from the Draycott Village Fund that has enabled us to cut last years growth mechanically has meant that we can now concentrate on the clearance of all the brambles at the Hopwell Road end to expose the full course of the canal.
One team spent the morning fine tuning the hedge cutting up to the standards that are in place, another started on laying the final 450 meters of hedge whilst the final team spent the day clearing the brambles and associated rubbish that has been left there over the years.
