The dig out of the Derby Canal has started at Spondon!
In conjunction with Wheeldon Brothers , the canal at Spondon is reappearing behind their new housing development.
Work has started on the first 60m, with the rest of the planned 300m due to be dig out in 2020. below are some images of the progress made mid-December.
