Working Thursdays – Draycott – Canal Cottages Restoration

Work Description:

We hope “Working Thursdays” will become a regular feature of the D&SC Trust Calendar going forward!

Come and lend a hand with our restoration of the Coop Cottages (formally called the ‘Canal Cottages’ in the 19th Century).

Currently, we are performing site clearance, but have also progressed onto the more complicated building works for the canal cottage restoration.

To Bring: A Smile, refreshments, stout shoes, hand held cutters/rake, other handheld tools that may be useful

HS&E requirements:

Full PPE required – it is a working building site.

Hard Hats will be provided. Steel toe cap boots or equivalent is required.
