DSCT Members Social Meeting – Talks for 2024
The Derby & Sandiacre Canal Trust invites a guest speaker to present to the Trust on a topic of interest. From experience they are usually very engaging and interesting (at least for those that enjoy Canals, History, Engineering, Nature, and all things in between).
In 2024, this meeting will be held the fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings will continue to be held at the First Floor, Canal Cottages, Draycott DE72 3PE

Tues 23rd April -Stephen Flanders – “The Ilkeston Tramway“
Tues 28th May – David Ramshaw – “The Carlisle Ship Canal”
Tues 25th June – DSCT walk – “A walk between from Draycott to Breaston to show plans and progress. Meet at the Draycott Café at 6.30pm”
Tues 23rd July – Bob Williams – “Lichfield and Hatherton Canal”
August – No Meeting
Tues 24th September – Keith Blood – “The Friargate Line”
Tues 22nd October – AGM 2024 (details to follow)
