DESCRIPTION:Sandiacre Lock Dig Out\n\n*** Please note: end date extended to 13th February due to Rain ***\n\nAny hours will be gratefully accepted\, please advise any availability to chairman@derbycanal.org.uk\n\nWork Description:\n\nWe now have approval to start the dig out of the bottom lock at Sandiacre! We need two banksmen/women to assist the public for the week that is involved. No digging\, just chatting to people and a little traffic control to ensure safety\, you will need to bring your own refreshments and PPE\, local facilities are available at the local pub near the bridge\, wrap up warm and enjoy the day. \nHS&E requirements: \nSturdy Boots\, gloves and PPE are recommended. \nGetting there: \nNo parking available on Lock Lane due to the works\, other locations nearby are available. \nMap coordinates: 52.917178\, -1.285162
