When we are travelling around we get the opportunity to meet some really nice people. Most of the people we talk to are most welcoming and encouraging and the visit to talk to “Rendezvous” at Ockbrook was no exception. Chris gave the talk on 9th April at “The Lecture Hall” in “The Settlement”. Not being that familiar with Ockbrook it sounded a daunting task to appear at a lecture hall, although anyone who knows Chris will know he’ll talk to anyone about the canal! It’s always a delight when you get an interested and attentive audience and of course we have some exciting stuff to tell people these days. There was also lots of interest in the merchandise and a couple of promises to come to the Wilmot to attend our meetings. Hopefully we’ll have a few new members as well.
So we’ll see you again Rendezvous!
